HOW MUCH IS THE BOOKING FEE?
There is a £250 booking fee to confirm your date. Until this is paid your date remains open to others.
IS IT REFUNDABLE?
There is a 14 day cooling off period in case you change your mind but after that the booking fee is non-refundable.
WHEN IS THE FULL BALANCE DUE?
I ask for the full balance to be paid 30 days before your wedding date.
IS THERE VAT ON TOP OF YOUR PRICES?
No VAT is added to the price.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes, I am fully insured with professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER?
I’ve been dipping in and out of the photography world since 2018 when my husband bought me my first DSLR camera. I shot my first wedding in 2019.
HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?
I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK and abroad. However if your wedding is not in the South Wales area within 50 miles of where I live, please consider that there will be a travel / hotel expense added to your package.
ARE WE EXPECTED TO FEED YOU ON THE DAY?
There is entirely no expectation on this, however a meal will always be hugely appreciated if you do. Please do let me know either way so I can make sure I keep myself fuelled with energy for the second half of the day.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
You will receive at least 500 images for a full wedding day from prep to first dance for all packages other than the ‘Essential’.
DO YOU TAKE FORMAL GROUP SHOTS ON THE DAY?
I will always take some formal shots and will ask who you would like to be in these before your big day, however I would encourage you to limit these to a maximum of 10 groups in order to save a lot of waiting around for you both. I’d also advise you to appoint somebody from your bridal party to be in charge of rounding up your groups for you.
HOW DO WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
You will be able to view your images via an online gallery, and you can share this link with friends and family immediately. USB’s, prints and albums are also included in some packages.
WILL WE HAVE COPIES OF THE RAW PHOTO FILES?
No. All of the photos will be fully edited for your gallery. No RAW photos are passed on to clients.
DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS?
Yes I offer a range of beautiful luxury albums in a choice of styles and colours.
DO YOU MEET WITH COUPLES BEFORE THEIR WEDDING DAY?
I always encourage a meeting around a month before your big day to go through your timeline and to let me know anything you feel is important for me to know and make sure you have all of the images you’d like on the day.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU'RE UNWELL AND ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND ON THE DAY?
Luckily I am part of a group of wonderful photographers who are willing to help each other out in these unexpected situations and would step in on my behalf. I would then use their “raw” images of the day and edit them as I normally would to fulfil our contract.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR EQUIPMENT FAILS?
I shoot on 2 cameras during the day in case of any issues with one of my cameras.
DO YOU OFFER A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
I can arrange a second shooter if you would like to benefit from having different angles and perspectives of the day. There is an additional cost of £350 for this.
DO YOU OFFER VIDEOGRAPHY OR CONTENT CREATION?
At the moment I don’t offer video unfortunately, I solely concentrate on photographs.
HOW LONG WILL YOU BE THERE ON THE DAY?
Depending on your chosen package, I will cover around 10-12 hours of a full wedding day. Usually starting at around 9:30am during bridal prep, and staying until the dance floor has filled following your first dance.
DO YOU OFFER LESS COVERAGE?
Yes, I also offer a mini package and extra hours of coverage if needed. Get in touch and we can discuss my hourly rate.
DO YOU OFFER ENGAGEMENT SHOOTS?
I do! They are great for getting you used to being in front of the camera ahead of your big day and to give us a chance to get to know each other.
ARE OUR IMAGES COPYRIGHTED?
You have the right to print your photos for personal use, even though I will still own the copyright as the photographer. My one request is that your photos are not filtered or cropped on social media when sharing. A tag is also always appreciated if you do decide to share them online!
HOW LONG WILL WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR OUR IMAGES?
I allow up to 12 weeks to send your fully edited gallery to you, however it is usually much sooner than that depending on the time of year in the wedding season.
DO YOU OFFER ANY PREVIEWS AFTER THE DAY?
Absolutely! I will always share some sneaky peeks as I know how eager you’ll probably be to see some during the come down of the big day!
WHAT IF WE DON’T WANT OUR IMAGES TO BE SHARED ON YOUR SOCIALS OR BLOG?
Unless told otherwise, I will assume you are happy for me to share images on my platforms but I will completely respect any requests not to share any images or details of your day. Please let me know if this is the case.
WHAT IF YOU'VE NEVER WORKED AT OUR VENUE BEFORE?
I will always do my research on all venues and try my best to do a recce if I am able to, but if not - a fresh perspective on a venue can often spark the best creativity - so there is no need to worry about it!
WHAT IF IT RAINS ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
We will try our very best to get you some outdoor shots on a rainy day. However, if it is really torrential and you’d rather stay indoors I’d be more than happy to do some couple portraits for you on a better day, if you’d like to get back into your wedding gear!
